The heterogeneity of the research community involved in the ENVRI-Hub development is reflected in the geographical distribution of ENVRI-Hub developers and in the diverse expertise across the consortium.

The coordination of such different development workgroups requires continuous feedback and the support of collaborative work tools.The ENVRI-Hub NEXT consortium has therefore adopted a number of practices from the Agile methodology, such as SCRUM, namely: 1) the usage of Jira, a ticketing system to track activities, issues, and requests; 2) the adoption Git, a distributed code versioning system; 3) the implementation of continuous integration, delivery, and deployment practices; and 4) the general adoption of brief and informal communication practices among workgroups.

Trainer

Nadia De Nardi has a Master's Degree in Exploration Geophysics from the University of Trieste. Her Master's thesis was part of 2019 EVOLVE project and was presented at the Society of Exploration Geophysicist (SEG) annual meeting in San Antonio, Texas. The work won Premio Marco Mucciarelli in 2020, an Italian prize rewarding the best Master's thesis in seismological, geophysical and seismic engineering.

Nadia worked for 5 years in Accenture, a multinational professional services company, where she was part of a global IT migration project. As team leader, she managed activities using Agile methodology by having a constant communication with the client and supporting a distributed and international group of developers in daily technical operations.

Since August 2024, Nadia is part of the the CREA-IT team for the ENVRI-HUB NEXT project.
